My work is mostly wheel-thrown with some press-moulded
textural combinations.
I reference elements of ancient artefacts, period garden ornamentation
and architecture in my work.
I produce a wide variety of functional, individual, one-off pieces
including:
elevated stemmed vessels, birdbaths, sconces, lidded bowls, vases, and
candle bowls.
I prefer to use grogged stoneware clay due to its durability
and
versatile nature to produce rough, volcanic finishes.
The surfaces are distressed in order to maximise the contrasts in the
dry
vivid glazes I use.
My work has
been featured in the following publications:

I have undertaken a wide variety of commission work including:
wedding gifts and ceramic wall-mounted flower holders for
the sacred garden at
the Jamyang
Buddhist Centre in Lambeth.
I also make beautiful, original urns and pet memorials which are
hand-thrown and personalised for your loved ones and pets.
Memorials and urns are available in a wide variety of forms, sizes and glaze
finishes, and an inscription can be applied.
An urn or pet memorial takes approximately 3 weeks to be completed once an
order is placed.
I am available for private consultations, please contact me
via
email to make an appointment.
